What Preoccupies Your Mind?

Scripture Reading - I Tim. 6:11 "But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness"

If your were to analyze what preoccupies your mind and where do you direct most of your effort, what would be the result of that analysis. It could be true that your job occupies most of your mind and effort. It could be that activities that you or your children are involved in preoccupy the space in your mind and demand most of your effort. Many people are consumed by stress and worry over circumstances in that arise in your family. How many of let our minds be dominated by debt and the stronghold it has upon us. Our minds are full, and what the mind is full of, usually directs where our effort will be. The key to being where God would have us is that our minds and effort be directed towards Him and having His character traits develop in our lives. We have to purpose to and extend effort in having God be in our every thought. It sometimes takes just a millisecond to focus our energy toward Him. If we learn to quickly process the thought of how could God be honored in each and every situation we would much less likely to have our minds and effort controlled by things that further distance us from Jesus and the life He would have us lead. Focus upon Him, He is the Way , the Truth, and the Life.

Be Blessed and Live in the NOW!!!
